Ida Shasteen

Mrs. Ida May Shasteen, 4828 295th St., a Toledo resident all her life, died today in Mercy Hospital after a long illness. She was 69.

She was a member of the East Toledo Sisters, the auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Enginemen and Firemen; auxiliary, Pond Post, American Legion; Daughters of America and Ladies of the Moose.

Survivors include her husband, Charles; sons, Albert Gates and Charles Shasteen; daughters Mrs. Margaret Gehring, Marie Gates, Mrs. Mildred Delaney, Mrs. Betty Zalewski, Mrs. Alice Recker and Mrs. Ruth Van Etten, all of Toledo, and Mrs. Mayme Bobilya, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; brother, Henry Navarre; sisters, Mrs. Jennie Bell, Mrs. Elsie Lichtie and Mrs. Pearl Beaver, all of Toledo; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

The body will be in the Abele Mortuary after 3 p.m. tomorrow. Services will be a 1 p.m. Saturday in the mortuary, with the Rev. Stanley D. Schneider, assistant pastor St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
