| Note | Syracuse (NY) Post-Standard Sunday, March 8, 1964 Page 23, Column 4 Mrs. Irene Laabs Dies in Hospital Services for Mrs. Irene E. Laabs of 492 Pleasant View Ave., who died Friday in Memorial Hospital, will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Frasier Funeral Home, 1217 N. Salina St., and at 9 a.m. In St. Daniel's Church. A native of Auburn, Mrs. Laabs resided in Syracuse most of her life. She was head nurse at Syracuse State School until her retirement several years ago. Mrs. Laabs was a communicant of St. Daniel's Church. Surviving are her husband, Edwin G. Laabs; two sisters, Mrs. James Hoey of Syracuse and Miss Theresa McCarthy of Utica; two brothers, Arthur McCarthy of Syracuse and John McCarthy of Auburn, and several nieces and nephews, including Reid A. Hoey. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow. |
