Sussman-Laabs

Joseph C. Lukasik, age 51, of Wales Township, Michigan, entered into Eternal Life on Sunday, June 6, 2004. He was born January 4, 1953, a son to the late Joseph John and Helen Elizabeth (Wisniewski) Lukasik. He married Barbara Lynn Eagen on September 1, 1972 in All Saints Catholic Church, Memphis, Michigan.

Mr. Lukasik was employed as a drywall finisher. He was a member of the carpenter's union for 10 years and the painter's union for some 12 years. Joe was a member of All Saints Church in Memphis, Michigan, and the Quarter Mile Cruisers Classic Car Club. He enjoyed golfing and snowmobiling and very much loved his wife, children, family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara, daughter; Angela K. Lukasik of Wales, Michigan, son; Joseph J. Lukasik of Wales, Michigan, brother; Larry (JoAnn) of Lambertville, Michigan, sisters; Diane (Leo) Vossen of Illinois, Connie (Don) Delorey of Cheboygan, Michigan, Jeanny Griffin of St. Clair, Michigan, and Marry (Dave) Fitz of Wales, Michigan, aunts; Helen Okay and Jean Suwalkowski, and many brothers and sisters-in-law, and nieces, nephews, cousins and "shed friends".

Services will be Thursday, June 10, 2004 a 10:00 A.M. Mass in All Saints Church, Memphis, Michigan, with The Reverend Joseph R. Horn presiding. Interment will be in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Emmett, Michigan.

Visiting in the Kammeraad Funeral Home is Tuesday, June 8, 2004 from 7-9 P.M. and Wednesday, June 9, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-9 P.M. and in the church on Thursday at 9:30 A.M. until Mass at 10:0 A.M. A Rosary Service will take place Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
