Joseph E. Eagen "Marysville - Joseph E. Eagen, 75, died Friday, Aug. 13, 1993, in Mercy Hospital. He was born April 4, 1918, in Smiths Creek. He married the former Sally E. Tyson. Mr. Eagen was a veteran of World War II, serving with the 147th Indantry in the South Pacific. He was a member of Lakeland Beagle Club and St. Christopher and St. Stephen Church. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed his cabin in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. He is survived by his wife, Sally' a brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Marcella Eagen of Smiths Creek; a sister and brother-in-law, Madeline and Francis O'Connor of Marysville and a sister, Sr. Mary Cecelia (Dorothy) Eagen of Detroit; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded death by brothers, Martin, Frank and Patrick and a sister, Eleanor Howard. Services are 10 a.m. Monday in St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Rev. Frederick A. Bodde, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in St. Clair. Pallbearers are Jim, Pat, Joe and Tom Eagen, Bernie Howard and Dave Tokarski. Visiting is 1 to 9 p.m. today in the Karrer-Simpson-Crawford Funeral Home.
