Did a lot of travel for his job back and forth to Mexico and South America. Most records say his middle name is Bismarck. His draft card says its Bryan.

From Find-A-Grave: Edgar was born in Toledo, Ohio to Robert Sussman (B. 26 January 1848 - D. 11 March 1911) and Augusta V. Fecht (B. March 1860 - D. 2 February 1896).

Edgar was born with a strong sense of wanderlust. He left home at an early age and found work in La Platta and Buenos Aires, Argentina with The Hormel Meat Co., Swift & Co. and others. He rapidly learned Spanish and traveled in the best company as the young American bon vivant.

Edgar was married three times. His first wife was Ofelia Gallina. Ofelia was born in 1910 in Havana, Cuba. They were wed in circa 1931 in her home town. She expired in 1934. Additional details are difficult to find.

Next, circa 1940, Edgar married Mitzi Paulina Nall (B. 07 December, 1919 - D. 29 November 2000), of Mesquite, TX. They had one child, a son, Philip Michael Sussman. Philip was born on 18 October 1941. He has since changed his surname to Conrad. He was not close to his father. He was a guitarist. He married twice. He currently lives in Leonard, Texas. I have no further information about Philip. I have found no reliable details as to when this marriage ended. I do know that she went on to marry a Mr. Molina.

His last spouse was one Catalina Stoduto. They met in Dallas, TX. They started their lives together in Corpus Christi, TX. Eventually, they moved to San Antonio, TX. There, Edgar was engaged as a piano salesman. He was also active in social organizations like The Civitans and The Lions Club.

Edgar loved language and used words with surgical precision. He was naturally talented in rhetoric and debate. Additionally, he never met a pun that he did not like!

Edgar died from throat cancer.
