| Note | Ruth Naomi Rulison, of Lansing, MI passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the age of 85. Ruth was born on October 19, 1928 to Leslie and Edna (Dean) Rehklau in Lansing. She graduated from Sexton High School and went on to work for and retire from Gibson's Book Store. Ruth loved to play bingo, her weekly hair appointments, cross country adventures with Lucie, playing cards, casino trips, bowling, and cooking for others. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Theresa Rulison; late husband, Roland Rulison; brother, Russell; and sister, Esther. Surviving are her daughter, Brenda (Ronald) Sussman; grandchildren, Marea Pierpoint, Rachel Brown, Nathan Brown, Donnie Wilbur, Brian Sussman, Gabriel Sussman, Amanda Sussman; and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel at 10:00 am with Pastor Frank Weller officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lansing. Ruth gave away much of her jewelry collection over the past several years, and one of her last wishes was that those jewelry pieces be worn to her funeral service.
